1. The Company
DGT was founded for the purpose of taking the E-Cat through the whole “food-chain”, i.e. taking it through the cycles of invention, manufacturing, marketing, sales and support – at a global level. The company is headquartered in Athens, whereas the manufacturing plant is located in Xanthi. The company has so far been funded by private money. The first series of products will be called Hyperion (series A-F) and will initially be released in Greece and thereafter world wide. The Hyperion modules will be powered by E-Cats and thus each unit will be endowed with, using computer lingo, “E-Cat inside”. DGT will provide a product line that enables clean and cheap energy through the entire spectrum from house holds to industry and utility providers.
2. Science and Technology
DGT claims that Messrs Rossi and Focardi has undisputably succeeded in creating safe, cheap and clean nuclear “strength” energy at room temperature and that this discovery will revolutionize the field of energy production with vast global implications at all levels of society. DGT do not adhere to labeling the processes behind the E-Cat cold-fusion, LENR or CANR – instead preferring to describe them as exothermic reactions between Nickel and Hydrogen. Furthermore, DGT promises to work with the scientific community to develop this promising new technology in order to establish a global platform for energy production. 3. Product Status
The productification is currently going through its final stages. The first batch of products will, as was mentioned above, be marketed under the commercial name Hyperion (series A-F). The heart of these products will be the E-Cat and they will be capable of producing an energy output of 6-30 times the input energy. Thy Hyperions are currently being licensed. The first generation of products will culminate in the launch of the first 1 megawatt reactor in Q4 2011.
4. Technical Specs
DGT has used Rossi’s E-Cat as the engine and built other components around it to come up with the Hyperion product line. Note that the Hyperions will produce heat only (no electricity). The energy output of the current series ranges from the low kilowatts to roughly 3.5 megawatts. There are no toxic or radioactive bi-products used or produced during the energy production process.
5. R & D
Defkalion is heavily invested in R&D and promotes out-of-the-box thinking and seas radical ideas as necessary in order to push limits faster than the conventional and conservative scientific community is able to do.
