This year, on sixth of the April, Ufficio Italiano Brevetti e Marchi, proclaimed an official patent for the energy catalyzer (E-cat). The Italian patent also mentioned that this approved patent will be valid till the ninth of April, 2028. Andrea Rossi is the inventor of the patent while his wife Mddalena Rascucci is its proprietor. The final content of the patent is not available online; though, it is openly operated.
It is not yet known whether the patent leads us to the secrets parts of energy catalyst.
“Now I have to consider and decide on the basis of patent protection as we can tell”
said Andrea Rossi. In Italy, New Technology (NyTeknik, Swedish magazine) confirmed that this patent is normal, and it was endowed after full technical review. New Technology, used for the examination of the patent, is considered formal and less technical than the international review under the PCT procedure. In October 2010, International patent application, under the PCT, received a negative initial and a negative assessment of patentability verdict in a purported International Search Report. This report was made by the International Searching Authority. Patent application is not comprehensively detailed to exhibit the technology, claimed many critics. The evaluation of the international patent application is now with the regional and national level including the European Paten Office.
