    the cost of energy from an Hyperion is about 30 times less for heating, and maybe 10 times less for electricity than nuclear energy.

    all the cost is only work, building and maintenance.
    nickel cost is negligible.

    at least it says that this energy can scale up to replace all, without long term problems. no impact on nickel market. no impact of nickel price.

    main factor is investment and maintenance.

    about core building, usual distributed intelligence of capitalism market can cope with the challenge. no need of subsidies, quota or cap trading, decision to move are short term good. investment seems good from 5 years.

    about electricity price, it seems very very competitive relative to nuke, and much more easy to finance for usual free market.

    • While LENR would likely replace classic forms of energy, its impact overall in the long run will influence the nickel market. The whole economics would change, so prices would, too.

      Imagine the rise & fall of the Ni prices, with the metal being the core of LENR devices.

      Of course, your analysis could also be true to the trade, but until we see how LENR devices quote up in the market, it’s too soon to be 100% accurate.

        for replacing all energy with LENR electricity (thermodynamic efficiency 33%), using Hyperion machine and Defkalion data on their forum,
        It will consume less that 10% of world nickel production.
        and this production is limited only by consumption, not by real capacity…

        don’t invest in nickel, except to abuse the innocent that reason without numbers, and will launch a bubble.
