Those who are following the development of Andrea Rossi’s E-Cat would probably give their right arm to get to see the new plant in action. Mr. Rossi and his team are working diligently to prepare the Hot Cat plant for civilian use. When the customer is ready to allow tours, selected people will get to observe the plant in action.
Dr. Brian Josephson is one of the first university professors to speak out in favor of LENR studies at the university level, and has been a staunch supporter of Andrea Rossi’s work. On the Journal of Nuclear Physics, recently, Dr. Josephson asked Mr. Rossi about the third party reports. It seems that the third party testing has been extended, with no explanation forthcoming from the group doing the testing. Dr. Josephson commented:
“In view of the repeated and unexplained delays, it would be comforting to those wondering what is happening if your Third Party would issue their own announcement, summarizing progress or otherwise. Perhaps to this view, which I am sure is shared by many others, can be passed on to them.”
This seems like a perfectly reasonable solution to the problem, considering that the third party appears to be “taking its sweet time”, as we say in Texas.
Andrea Rossi’s response was that, unfortunately, he has no control whatsoever over the actions of the third party. This, we already knew. I would hope that the comments by Dr. Josephson would fall on the sensitive ears of at least one member of the third party, so that some kind of statement would be forthcoming. Mr. Rossi appealed to the scientist in Dr. Josephson, though:
“The work of the Independent Third Party will probably finish in March. The publication probably will be made by the end of March or close to it and it will be made whatever the results, independently from us. … The timing of their work does not depend on me: you are among the most important scientists of the World and a Nobel Prize, so you know perfectly how can work a validation of a thing that is as complex as ours.”
In a related matter, Andrea Rossi is the first to leak that Dr. Josephson is on the short list for getting to view the first Hot Cat plant. He stated:
“…we are completing the construction of the first non military 1 MW plant. You are in the list of the persons that will be invited to visit it.”
This, of course, got everyone’s heart beating a little faster, as they begin to wonder who else may be on the list. Mr. Rossi did state that the client purchasing the plant will have the final say over who gets the grand tour, but the consensus on JONP is that Frank Acland, administrator of E-Cat World, should be on the short list, as well. There are others who have participated tirelessly in the promotion and discussion of Mr. Rossi’s work, such as Koen Vandewalle, Steven Karels, Bernie Koppenhofer, and a few others that escape inventory right now, who might be included on the list of people who get the tour.

I wrote a book about the E-Cat that Rossi was very complimentary about, so I hope I’m on that list. We have been tirelessly promoting Rossi and LENR since January 2011, when Steven Krivit the Snake publoished his interview with Dennis Bushnell.
