Last week, Engineer Andrea Rossi announced his plans for the Energy Catalyzer device. He revealed that Leonardo Corporation is planning to produce one million energy catalyzer devices.
Tapped to distribute the energy catalyzer heating units is Home Depot, the popular US based retail chain store. Soon to make its debut in the US general market is the 10 kilowatt Low Energy Nuclear Reactors designed for generating heating and air-conditioning for average sized households. All these are scheduled for 2012.
As a response to a question asked by one of the ECat followers on his blog, the inventor revealed that his system works like a steam powered heat pump. Rossi also said that they will actually use a heat pump.
This is a kind of device which is ideal during summer and winter. Although most of the heat pumps do not produce enough heat, Rossi’s new heating system produces a large amount of heat. This is the reason why it is also considered as an effective heating device. In the United States, heat pumps are electric-powered, so Rossi’s steam-powered heat pumps will take the marketplace by storm once available.
In addition, Rossi E-cat heater has other purposes. It can be adapted to heat air for a forced air heating system. It can also heat water. In order for the energy catalyzer to work, it can be connected to supplies of water and electricity.
Rossi also announced that they are targeting a retail price of $1,500 for each of the E-Cat. Mass production is also scheduled to begin in October of this year. He is also optimistic that he will get the government approval needed to be able to sell these unconventional nuclear reactors. The energy catalyzer device can produce an energy output that is six times more than the energy it needs for operation without producing any kind of pollution.
The ECat devices unwrapping comes as the aftermath of LENR boom. Dr. Joseph Zawodny from NASA has stated that LENR is
“a cheap, abundant, clean, scalable, portable source of energy [that] will impact EVERYONE. It is the singular solution to peak oil, climate change, fresh water, and associated geopolitical instabilities.”
The chief scientist of NASA, Dennis Bushnell added to the subject :
“LENR can provide NASA with the highly concentrated energy needed to make space travel within our solar system cost effective, as well as bring a permanent end to the energy crisis.”
For those who are still thinking that the E-Cat is a scam, they might just want to reput all the info together, do some more research and get ready, for soon enough, the world will have the chance to get a Low Energy Nuclear reactor to fuel their homes.

But if we fail to evolve spiritually and continue on a path of selfishness and greed, no technology will make our existence more meaningful, no matter how advanced.

E-cat sounds great and welcome, but nothing is said about how the device integrates with existing heating & cooling systems. $1000 per unit may be reasonable, but what about the cost of installation and maintenance?
