An Ecat lecture was conducted a couple of days ago in front of a hundred people at Uppsala University in Sweden. The lecturer, Professor Emeritus of High Energy Physics Sven Kullander, talked about how the world could drastically change if Rossi’s claims about the Ecat are proven right.

When he discussed Ross’s energy catalyzer device, he went over Ny Teknik’s ECat reports. By the end of his talk, he also went over Focardi’s article from 1994. That was the paper that Professor Focardi wrote to prove that extra energy can be produced from hydrogen and nickel. For a non-specialist, it’s easy to say that it must be the fusion of nickel and hydrogen that caused the extra heat to be produced. As a scientist, however, it’s troubling for Sven Kullander to use the exact same expression because the H-Ni fusion breaks the accepted laws of today’s science.
During the lecture, Kullander also shared more intimate details, such as meeting Rossi when the inventor was still broke. He also confirmed that NASA was interested, but did not buy the ECats because they wanted to know the secret of the energy catalyzer device and Rossi was not willing to give it away.
He also touched on Rossi’s “dark” past with regards to his brush with Italian authorities. It is ironic that he almost went to jail for searching for a way to turn garbage into fuel. Sven Kullander also revealed that after three years of working with the Rossi plant, the inventor can get quite angry if anyone questions it.
In spite of this, and because both Focardi and Levi are people that can be trusted, the Swedish lecturer dismisses claims that the ECat cold fusion technology is a fraud. And since the extra heat produced by the device can’t be explained, more independent tests should be done by an independent institution like Uppsala University. That should put a seal of approval on Rossi’s cold fusion technology and also figure out a way to explain the process scientifically.
