The Greek media is covering the E-Cat topic and reveals new details about the 1 MW plant to be opened in October in Athens. Various sources, from physicists to journalists consider the device a “ game changer”.
The mass production has already started and the products will be sold at a price of 3.000 – 3.500 euro. The additional inverter that turns thermal energy in electricity will cost between 500 and 900 euro. The annual cost of generating 20 kW is estimated at 1.300 euro.
Defkalion Green Technologies is the pilot producer that will manufacture the E-Cat technology. It is a 200 million euro investment, 50% of which represents royalties. One of the company members is professor Christos Stremmenos. The company will solicit the Regulatory Authority for Energy to be added to the Renewable Energy program.
Official tests of the device are programmed to take place in an old building in Xanthi, Greece and the official display of the discovery to the scientific community and officials is arranged for march.
