It has been rumored that NASA is conducting an experimental project that is trying to reproduce Rossi’s discovery. Many E-Cat skeptics and supporters were enthusiastic about the opportunity to gain funds for replications of the device. A chat mass message spread the rumor and attributed it to Dr Dennis Bushnell’s (chief scientist at NASA’s Langley Research Center) declaration.
Dr Bushnell later denied the story and stated that the project is not an attempt to reproduce Rossi’s E-Cat device, but to document the Widom-Larsen Theory using the Ni-H reaction.
