Andrea Rossi has stated on the Journal of Nuclear Physics that he has been experimenting with the thermoelectric process with his Hot Cats. This got a lot of people excited, as it seems to be a logical progression. The Hot Cat produces enough heat to build steam, which can then be turned into electrical power. This is the basis behind power plants that burn coal to generate electricity.
However, in response to a recent inquiry by Bernie Koppenhofer, Rossi said that they have not made any progress toward building a cohesive thermoelectric process with the Hot Cats.
This does not mean that work in that area will cease, it just means that Mr. Rossi’s efforts, and those of his team, are focused on manufacture of the Hot Cat. He has said all along that auxiliary systems will come once the units are widely utilized. The creativity and skills of a world full of inventors and scientists will take the LENR technology perfected by Andrea Rossi to new heights. Just because the Hot Cat will not be released with the full package of thermoelectric generators as well as heat production does not mean that it will never happen. Rossi says that he would have to have a crystal ball to be able to determine how this technology will develop.

Carl Sagen said “Extra ordinary claims require extra ordinary evidence” I have jet to see that evidence. I challenge Mr. Rossi to provide that evidence with a demonstration unit clearly divorced from ANY external power sources running, at least, a tungsten light bulb after which the apparatus is dismantled in front of scientists, journalists and engineers to prove that no batteries or other chemical or mechanical sources of energy, within the device, were used. Without such a demonstration, the purported observations remind me of psychical research whose demonstrations evaporate when subject to scientific scrutiny.

“Extra ordinary claims require extra ordinary evidence”
yes LENr is a fact, with huge evidence and no credible alternative, and it need extraordinary evidence to claim it is not real.
Now, industrial claim are not extraordinary… just ordinary.

and please ask what are doing all those business men in that domain:
