More Numbers On Energy Savings With Alternative Energy

There is much speculation and estimation concerning just how much emissions will be reduces across the planet with the use of various forms of alternative energy. With solar and wind power, we’ve already seen a great reduction of emissions in certain areas.

There is another area in which emissions are reduced, and that is through industrial applications that implement waste heat recovery systems. Systems that are already in use save the business owners $5 billion a year. That’s a pretty significant savings in dollar amounts.

However, that is not the only savings. While dollars are usually the “bottom line”, the reduction of emissions is the true assessment of value. The waste heat recovery already reduces NoX emissions by at least 400,000 tons every year, and reduces SO2 emissions by over 900,000 tons a year. According to the US Clean Heat and Power Association, this type of technology also keeps 35 MILLION tons of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere.

How does the use of waste heat impact the application of the E-Cat? Because the technology is there to use heat for power. Engines and generators are already in place for the purpose of converting heat to power. Industrial applications for the E-Cat should be much easier to implement with existing recovery technology in place.

  1. What is amazing with LENr, is that, far from pathological enthusiast way, when you try to see if LENR technology as Defkalion claim, car replace all energy usage on planet, you see that it can replace nearly all energy sources.

    For heatin houses and industry it works and is very cheap, about 5-10 times less expensive.
    for electricity it is about 5-10 times cheaper than nuke.
    for boat, very easy from nuclear reactr boat design, without nuke troubles.
    for car, it is possible with hybrid design, and maybe soon better, with 5 years tank car. This is the idea of LENR CARS SARL in swiss.
    for plane, NASA/Boeing report give constrainst on weight and power that seems accessible with better engineered LENR reactor (twice lighter than Hyperion), and top performance turbines of today.
    for rockets, seems possible from futuristic nuclear power rocket already designed…
    for power lines, LENR power plant on both side is cheaper than pulling long power lines…

    this mean that you can forget nearly all coal, oil, gaz, used for energy, not because of taxes or subsidies, but because it is cheaper and more practical to use LENR.

    since all the cost is in the reactor and the maintenance, and no more in the fuel, this mean that the workforce, the local workforce will benefit.
    Ther won’t be too much international workforce competition, because each country will be too concentrated in building his own reactors in less than 5 years, instead of building for others.

    that is a huge paradigm change.
    and the most funny is that technologically it won’t be so huge change, because LENR is simple plumbing, and the rest is know by electricity industry.
